Air Conditioning Parts & Equipment was founded in 1978 to provide a service to the Commercial & Industrial HVAC industry that I felt was sorely needed. I wanted to be the ultimate source for parts required to maintain every brand of A/C equipment in the market.  As a service contractor you had to maintain a relationship with each individual manufacturer’s representative in order to purchase repair parts, and quite often these representatives had their own individual service agencies. The pricing you received from these individual sources was quite often determined by 1) how much business you did with them over the course of time, 2) whether or not they were bidding the same contract and wanted to limit the competition and 3) whether you were a contractor or owner.

I founded Air Conditioning Parts & Equipment as an independent commercial and industrial HVAC parts wholesaler. I was able to provide repair parts for ALL HVAC brands such as Carrier, York, McQuay, Trane and Chrysler Airtemp.  All customers knew they could come to me and receive fair pricing for any product line.  At the same time I began pursuing government supply contracts, export contracts and owners who serviced their own equipment.   The company grew at a rapid pace, once news of our existence spread.  It was in 1978 that I picked up my largest customer and I still provide that account with repair parts and new equipment, 44 years later!

As the company grew, our product offerings expanded as customers requested us to provide a more expanded service to them.  We were now being tasked to not only provide HVAC parts but additionally they wanted us to maintain and provide materials to support the entire facility.  We would be presented with a specific problem and asked to assist with a solution.  As an example; we have one account, whose location is in the South Pacific, that has a severe salt air corrosion problem. Because of this highly corrosive environment, they were having to replace much of their HVAC equipment on average every 18 months, due to corrosion failures. At their request we designed and constructed an Air Cooled Condenser that now provides a life cycle 2-3 times longer than they were previously receiving. We also put a corrosion protection program in place that has greatly increased the life cycle of their air-cooled condensing units and package systems.  We partnered with a local company, Gulf Coast Protective Coatings and together we came up with a corrosion specification tailored to their needs to further protect the equipment and provide a longer life cycle.  This corrosion protection program is done in house to ensure the quality of the application and strict adherence to the specification we assisted them in writing.

As a small business we have the ability to adapt and provide services that larger companies can’t or don’t desire to provide. We have the ability to assist from a logistical standpoint by providing source loading of containers for direct shipment to overseas locations. By providing this service to our customer we are able to eliminate their freight costs to get material to a consolidation facility, reduce labor cost associated with loading containers, virtually eliminate any damages to material while in transit, and speed up delivery times to the ultimate destination. Providing this service to our customers has saved them tens of thousands of dollars in associated costs, not to mention the savings of project delays due to material and equipment damaged in transit.

Our customer base proves that our approach to our customer’s needs is on point. Our customers cover the entire industry. We provide materials and products to Aerospace Companies, Kwajalein Marshall Islands, Nuclear Power Plants, Medical Facilities, U.S. Government Military Bases, Servicing Contractors around the World, local and state Government Facilities, Colleges and Universities in the United States, and U.S. Embassies around the world. Our ultimate goal is a satisfied customer. Our longevity, 44 years, proves that we’re doing it right. Hopefully, if given the opportunity, we can add you to our list.
